"It’s just a good spot to meet..."
It’s just a good spot to meet people and kind of feel like you’re not on your own. The community is active, which helps a lot, and there always seems to be someone around sharing advice or pointing you in the right direction. I’ve found the network genuinely helpful, especially when you’re trying to make connections without it feeling too forced.

"Video lessons are easy to follow"
I’ve been using Yellowbrick for a few weeks now, and the video lessons have been really easy to get into. They’re clear, not super long, and I don’t find myself getting lost halfway through, which is nice. The teachers explain things in a normal way, not like they’re trying to make it sound more complicated than it is. I also like being able to pause or go back when I need to, especially if I miss something or just... need a second. So far I’m really happy with it.

"I did like some of the lessons..."
I did like some of the lessons and felt like I picked up a few useful things, but the internship and job placement side was underwhelming. I went in expecting they’d actually help with real leads or connections, but most of what I got was super basic advice you could probably Google in five minutes. The slow replies didn’t help either. It kind of made me wonder if the job support was being oversold a bit. Not the worst experience, but I can’t say it really helped me get closer to landing a job.

"Access ended way too soon"
The courses were alright overall, but the access period felt way too short. I went back to check on a few things I wanted, and some of it just wasn’t available anymore, so that was kind of frustrating. For what I paid, I expected a bit more time or more options, I guess.....

"My feedback felt rushed and unhelpful"
I was disappointed with my experience. The feedback I got felt rushed and didn’t really give me anything useful to improve on. A few of the grades also seemed kind of random, like my work hadn’t been read closely. Overall, it just didn’t feel worth it for me.

"I wasn’t expecting too much going in, but..."
I wasn’t expecting too much going in, but the instructors really knew their stuff. They explained things in a way that actually made sense, which was a nice surprise.

"Support got back to me fast"
Not gonna lie, I was impressed with how quickly they replied. They got back to me right away and fixed my issue without any hassle.

"I signed up for a Yellowbrick course..."
I signed up for a Yellowbrick course mostly because I wanted the certificate, it helped more than I thought it would. I’d been trying to explain my interest in the field to people and kept feeling kind of dismissed, like it didn’t count unless I had something official to show for it. Having the certificate gave me something solid to put on my resume and LinkedIn without it looking random.
The lessons were easy to follow, and for the price, the certificate felt legit. I wouldn’t say it completely changed my career overnight or anything, but it did make me feel a little more confident when talking about my experience. Overall, I felt like it was good value

"Assignments could’ve been clearer, at least for me"
I might be a little biased because I really prefer super detailed directions, but some of the assignments felt kind of unclear to me. I found myself re-reading the instructions a few times and still wasn’t totally sure what was expected. Clearer guidelines would’ve made the experience a lot smoother...

"I wasn’t totally sure about it at first..."
I wasn’t totally sure about it at first, but after comparing prices, Yellowbrick seemed reasonable. The lessons ended up being helpful, and I actually felt like I got my money’s worth. Overall, it was a solid experience and I’d definitely consider using Yellowbrick again

"Getting a refund shouldn’t be this hard"
Paying was quick and easy, but once I needed a refund, the whole thing dragged on way too long. Support didn’t really explain what was happening, which felt unfair. If a company can take your money smoothly, they should be just as clear and responsible when giving it back.

"I’ve had to deal with the site glitching..."
I’ve had to deal with the site glitching again today. The videos froze on me twice, and then my login failed too. It’s getting really frustrating having to explain the same problem over and over when it keeps happening.

"Picked Up a Few Helpful Ideas"
I’m not going to say this totally changed my career overnight or anything, and no promotion has happened yet, but I did come away with a few useful ideas. Some of it made me think about how I approach work and what I could maybe do differently, so that’s something. It feels like a small step, I guess, but still useful in its own way

"Felt a bit thin, and I had to chase them"
I was expecting the course to go a lot deeper, but most of the lessons felt basic and some points were repeated more than necessary. On top of that, I had to chase them for a response when I had a question, which made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be.

"I signed up expecting these courses to..."
I signed up expecting these courses to give me a clearer, realistic idea of the industry, but i came away feeling misled. The way it was presented made it seem like I’d be getting practical insight, but most of it felt really surface level.
A lot of the lessons were more like broad advice you could find anywhere, not anything especially current or useful. Some sections felt outdated, and I didn’t see much that actually reflected how people get hired or what day-to-day work in the field looks like now.
Maybe it could help someone who knows absolutely nothing yet, but for me it just didn’t feel worth the time or the money. I expected more real-world detail and ended up feeling like the course didn’t really match what was promised.

"The courses themselves seemed decent enough..."
The courses themselves seemed decent enough, but I wasn’t fully sold on the whole university partnership claim. It felt a little vague, and I would’ve liked to see more solid proof or clearer details before trusting it. I’m also not the type to just take customer service’s word for it, since they usually just tell you what you want to hear, so I’d need something more official before feeling comfortable.

"Really easy to get the hang of"
I had a really smooth experience using the platform. The whole process was easy to follow, and I didn’t run into any issues getting things done.

"The projects were genuinely helpful and gave..."
The projects were genuinely helpful and gave me something to work through, but by the end my portfolio still felt basic. I was hoping it would feel more polished or unique, but instead I kind of felt trapped with something that didn’t fully show what I can do.

"Gave me a little confidence boost"
Yellowbrick was okay overall. I went through a few lessons after work with some coffee, and some of them actually helped me feel a bit more confident and motivated to keep going. A couple sections dragged on though, and I caught myself checking the clock more than once. I did enjoy hearing from people who actually work in the industry, that part felt more real and useful. Not something I’d rave about nonstop, but it wasn’t a waste of time either.

"Flexible, though the pacing was a little hard to judge"
I did like being able to work through the lessons whenever I had time, since my schedule is unpredictable. The site was simple enough to use, and I didn’t feel like I had to build my day around a set class time, which was nice.
That said, the pacing felt a bit uneven to me. Some sections seemed to move kind of quickly, while others felt like they slowed down more than expected. I’m not sure if that’s just how I learn, but it didn’t feel quite as smooth as I was hoping...
